You really shouldn't bring the paladin along on this one!
Join Ben McFarland on the successor to the ENnie-award-winning Tales of Zobeck, as we take a tour of the gutter and drag heroes through the dark side of town.
This 80-page supplement and adventure anthology is set in the seedy underbelly of Zobeck, and includes
1) Six adventures dealing with underhanded themes, shady locations, and double-crossing deals gone wrong
2) Five locales—such as the Cartways Market Gallery or the Old Stross Municipal Baths.
3) A dirty dozen NPCs such as kobold gearsmiths, failed Arcane Collegium students, barge captains, fey and undead ambassadors to use as rivals, patrons, peers and foes.
4) A sampling of new clockworks, street magics and odd enchantments that help make Zobeck the distinctive jewel of the Argent.
Streets of Zobeck is now available for patronage, and a private forum has opened for patron discussion as we see whether the project will meet the commission by July 4, 2010.
Join us for these tales of treachery! _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Ben's leading this one? Hmm... I'll have to give it some serious consideration. |

Vice is good!
Whether you're fighting it, or engaging in it.
I'm expecting some top notch urban adventures from this one that will be highly transportable to any campaign, or set in good old Midgard/Zobeck. |

Sounds like a very (ahem) intriguing project!
A few questions:
-What levels will the adventures be aimed at?
-Will senior patrons have the opportunity to pitch adventures, or is the author lineup already set?
-When will the next 4e project be announced, for those of us who don't want to spread ourselves too thin?
Thanks! |

Level aren't set in Ben's pitch, so I gather the patrons will have the final say on range.
Senior patrons will *definitely* have the opportunity to pitch. The only author confirmed so far is Ben McFarland.
The next 4E project will be announced in July or August. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I could barely resist Frozen Empires, ...but I did.
But when I saw Streets of Zobeck, I didn't even try to talk myself out of joining. Thieves and Zobeck - that combination is just too sweet! |

Yeah, I'm a fan of the Thieves' World series from years ago, and a complete sucker for anything along these lines.
My favorite stories are Cugel the Clever and the Grey Mouser in their trickster best. I hope we get a little of that in Zobeck as well. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I got a kicka$$ idea up my sleeves. I'm fighting to keep from blathering it out prematurely on the SoZ boards. |

Retain the advantage of surprise! Leave all other patrons flat-footed! Sneak attack! Sneak attack!
(And yeah, I'm twitchy to know what you're cooking up, but your pitch will be better if no one sees it coming) _________________ Wolfgang Baur

| I'm trying to become a patron to this book, but I've never done this before and cannot find the link. Should I just go throught the Contact Us link? |

Nope, but I am sure that someone would help you if you did go that way.
Go to the store. Patronage is there almost like something you can purchase. There are instructions there on how to buy into different levels of patronage by the quantity that you select.
The projects will be listed like "Streets of Zobeck Project" _________________ Jim Groves

What you want is here
And you can usually find all that stuff through the "Store" link at the top, then follow through to the Open Design projects!
See you there!

| Yeah I went that route and all I could do is get it to let me pre-order the book. Maybe it just isn't taking patrons yet and that will be later on in the week. |
