Hi,

Very surprised there isn't a thread on this so I'm starting one!

Now we've got the pdf, what do we all think? I've only skimmed it so far but it looks amazing!

Oh and has anyone else had a problem with an error message when they've got to the end of the pdf?

Cheers

Cover page looks pretty, but I get that error when I try to page down as well.

I can read it OK but if I scroll to the end it crashes. Have emailed Wolfgang about it. I also haven't been able to copy it on to my iphone via GoodReader, hence have only read the introduction.

Feels weird that we're not discussing it on LJ!

Revised file is now available. Download the new one, and let me know whether that gives you an error.

I couldn't get the error to reproduce on the first one, so I can't test the revision. Thanks!

Now you've gone and done it.

New PDF works like a charm!

Cool - will give it a go as soon as I get in!

BTW, were all the maps originally done in colour? Would it be possible to post these somewhere?

Cheers

The maps were all done in color and should have been in color in the PDF. Time ran short, though.

They will be in color in the map pack, I hope.

What's the map pack? Have I missed something?

Since I'm here in Blighty and therefore won't be at GenCon, I will post any errata I spot over the weekend here when I'll get a chance to have a proper read-through.

Cheers

Hi,

Just downloaded the new file and it seems fine. I'll see if I can get this one on to Good Reader.

Thanks!

Would love to see your review on DTRPG or RPGNow, or on KQ Store!

The map pack is just a small collection of additional materials, bits and bobs, and a larger version of the primary Courts map. Still in progress.

I just picked this yesterday and read it overnoght. I am very impressed. It exceeds my expectations on many levels. Ever since 4e came out, I have been wanting to an adventure that both understood its design but also pushed the tools from the baseline. No one has done it on the adventure front, not even WotC.

Court of the Shadow Fey has been 2 years coming but then again so did the first OGL products that really grokked what to do with it (M&M is a good example) Smile I would love to see more 4e adventures in this vein and I am watching Logan Bonner's project with great interest.

Thank you Skywalker! Reviews (even negative ones) always make me smile.

Or as Oscar Wilde said "The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about."

It's a twitchy time, just after a new book or adventure is launched, and your feedback does mean a lot to me. As in, it's fuel to go do it again! Very Happy

Review posted. Its a bit gushy, which I know can be counterproductive, but hey the product deserves it IMO
