| So if I click the fancy 4E add and get directed to the WOTC website does a Koblod get a Copper Peice? |

The way this type of thing works, kobolds get coppers every time. However, the more times someone performs the action that results in a copper, the more valuable the Kobold looks. If that continues long enough, the kobold will start to get silver or electrum pieces each time, instead of coppers.

If you click on the 4E link/advertisment on any of the Kobold Quarterly web pages WOTC logs the entry and Kobold Quarterly gets a few(or less than one) cents/pennies. The more folks follow the link the more KQ gets in kick backs from WOTC.
I've never actually done anyting with a website and I'm sure someone else could give you an more detailed and accurate response.
I just think it is cool that I can make WOTC give KQ money however small an amount it maybe. |
