How big, in terms of page count, is Lost City planned to be? Halls of the Mountain King size or Courts of the Shadow Fey size? Smile

I found Courts in the store so: 100 pages.
How many pages is Halls? Is it not for sale in the store?

For either Courts of the Shadow Fey or Halls of the Mountain King size we'd be charging at least $10 more.

This one is slated for roughly 80 to 84 pages, or Sunken Empires size. Though Halls of the Mountain King was originally slated for under 100 pages as well, and we all know how THAT turned out.

I came to this thread expecting a surface area estimation. I guess your question is probably more readily useful.

It's a good question, and I don't think I've seen it answered on the patron boards yet. The city's size is up for grabs!

Of course, right now we're trying to scrape together the last bit of funding for Lost City, so I'm not sure that design is getting full attention.

1) LOL! Guess I should have put page count in the title...

2) Wolfgang, added my change to the pot! Let's see what everyone is talking about in the patron boards! Smile

Thank you fictionalbeing! The discussion is moving along slowly but steadily while we wait to see if the pot fills up in time, or no.

Every bit helps!

There doesn't seem to have been much posted about this one for a while - are you still looking for sponsors? Is there some central place I can see what projects are still unfunded, which are proceeding but could use more funding and which are finished?

I'm somewhat new here and am struggling to understand the various projects and where they're at.

Cheers

All of the projects are currently greenlit and cruising at various states of completion. At this point, it depends on what you want to get out of the process.

Red Eye of Azathoth is in editing now, I believe. It's the last project over on Livejournal.

Frozen Empires is in playtest now, I believe. It's a lost, frostfell supplement for Pathfinder. Lots of interesting stuff in there to see.

Streets of Zobeck is in playtest. We've got 6, soon to be 7 adventures for levels 1-12. We're playtesting through the 23rd of this month. I'm the project lead for that particular option.

Lost City is also in playtest. They have 5 sections of Paragon goodness to work through. I'm not certain how long playtest will go...I think two or three weeks.

And Dark Deeds is just spinning up. They hit greenlight last week, and so they've got the most room for new contributions.

However! Playtesting is a unique opportunity to get the manuscripts early, to really see the material, and to comment and influence on the design. Playtesting is the aspect of the process where a lurker could totally come back up to speed on a project.

So, there you are. Please let me know if I can help further.

thanks,

-Ben.

No problem! Figure, if you want to lurk, then go with the one that matches the system and setting you're into. If you want to playtest with material now, there's three options, and if you want to really see about following the process and possibly contributing, you've got one choice.

Enjoy!
