I'm a patron of both of these and though I've looked in each forum, I haven't been able to find out an estimate of when these will be coming out.
Could we have an update, or could someone just point me to where the updates already are ? |

Thanks for asking! Both are in final edits, heading to layout and proofing soon.
The estimate for Northlands/Frozen Empires/Glories of the North is mid-April.
The estimate for Streets of Zobeck is somewhat later in April.
When these appear in the KQ Store for preorder, they'll have more detailed dates associated with them. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Question about Streets of Zobeck Battlemaps product.
I have never used something from KQ but the concept of these maps sounds great.
I use Klooge as my VTT, will this product be available in a PDF form where I can copy and paste the maps without grids, numbering etc. ?
I am used to using the interactive PDFs from 0onegames for my adventures but a whole village in one style would be very nice to have.
Thanks for any info,

I'll talk to the cartographer and Dark Overlord Publisher and see what we can do. I don't have a lot of experience in the VTT realm, so I'll admit to being ignorant of what's necessary to put a battlemap into that environment. Right now, we're trying to make these images you can print with 1" squares-- likely as single, large images and broken up into 8.5x11 sheets.

Thank you Ben,
The only thing any VTT needs from a product like this is the ability to copy and paste an image out of the PDF. Any good VTT will be able to use that image (jpg, png, whatever) to create the appropriate map with.
However VTTs do their own grid so it is very helpful to be able to see the image without the grid overlay that appears for a print version.
Thank you for thinking about this,

I can't see why they wouldn't be-- but I'll defer to Wolfgang. You can find them here. They're primarily for the adventures in Streets of Zobeck, but that doesn't prevent them from being repurposed.

Ah! Streets and Northlands both will be available, they're in layout right now, being prepped. I will say no more, lest I draw the Curse of Azathoth.
But yes, once they're ready, they'll be available. Open Design projects are no longer exclusive and haven't been the beginning of 2010, with Courts of the Shadow Fey, Sunken Empires/From Shore to Sea, and Red Eye of Azathoth.
Since then, there's been Tales of the Old Margreve, Lost City, Streets, Northlands, Dark Deeds in Freeport, and now Midgard.

Is this product ready to ship?
I am interested in the PDF if I can get one without any grid lines.
Thank you

I think the VTT maps are fairly close, though I expect it will have grid lines. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
