I'm considering treating the Margreve as a standalone setting. I'm lacking in time, so I'm asking for references.

What d20 sources do you use for the fey? I'm hoping for something similar to WotC's Liber Mortis or Draconomican.

I have two seconds.

Van Richten's Guide to the Shadow Fey, by White Wolf.
But it's out of print.

It's really good. Lotsa flavour and crunch.

I'll echo the above.

Raven Crowking on the ENworld forums has some great "fey encounters"...I used all of those.

I also use grimm d20 (fantasy flight games).

I don't.

Honestly? I use Ars Magica's Realms of Power: Faerie, or Exalted's The Fair Folk.

I'd also recommend Grimm from Fantasy Flight.

D20 fey are given short shrift, relegated to a very Disney-esque existence, when truthfully, they should be on par with outsiders or jinn (who are really another set of fey). To do them right, they need class levels almost every time, unless you're dealing with the most low level fey, and even then, there's not much to them in d20/PF.

Hi,

I bought the 4e Fey Folio: The Unseelie Court from Alluria Publishing. It's pretty good and there's a Pathfinder version too.

Cheers
