Would you subscribe to a patron project involving The Great Beyond?
Maybe. I love planar adventures, but I'm not sold on a Pathfinder-specific project.

Maybe. I love Pathfinder, but the planes aren't a big thing for me.

No. Open Design should concentrate on humbler fare with a wider audience.

We will, Lord Snorkus! And thank you!
There's a few things already in the works that may make any Planescape fan very, very happy. But I can't announce them until it's 100% certain. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Unfortunately I cant justify to the accountant [read wife ] the patronage of multiple projects at the same time, so no access to the patronage forums - but here is an idea for a "plane":
The Void Between
The gaps between the planes and the material world are not as empty as they seem. An alien presence lives in the void between. Home to aberrant creatures that are attempting to force their way into reality. With the ability to slip thoughts through the void into the mind of the weak minded they manipulate events for some unseen purpose.
Basically The Void Between gives a home to the aberrant creatures of the world, and a justification for psionic powers. I never did like the idea of "The Far Realm". I see this as a fantasy version of String Theory meets Dan Simmons "The Void Which Binds" from his Endymion series, but a dark and twisted version. |
