I normally don’t post anything about my campaign. However, last Saturday everyone was in rare form, and a number of memorable quotes were quoted. I’d like to break pattern and share a few…

Player #1: “You’re here? I thought you were still being electrocuted.”
Player #2: “What, how long do you think it takes to get electrocuted?”

Player #3: “I’ve got a great idea! We’ll get a chain, drape one end around the neck of the first bronze statue, then stretch it across the hallway and drape the other end around the other statue’s neck. That will short them out and disarm the trap.”
Player #2: “Or it might turn a simple electric trap into a complicated electric fence!”

(A few minutes later…)

DM: “The chain that you accidentally welded to the statue’s foot is now also tangled around your legs.”

Player #3: “Guys, I’m sorry I threw the acid on you instead of the statue.”

Player #3: “What do you think will happen if we put the eyeball back into the socket?

(A few minutes later…)

Player #3: “Quick, hand me an iron spike. I’ve got to get that eyeball out of the socket!”

Player #3: “I’m going to fan the flames and blow embers onto the bad guy’s robe. Maybe he’ll catch on fire.”
DM: “Are you sure? You’ll be blowing embers onto Harkness (Player #2’s character) too.”
Player #3: “Yeah, but Harkness is naked, so he’s got nothing left to burn.”
Player #2: “Hey, I’ve still got hair!”
