I may have actually managed to catch up to all my missed weeks at Dungeons and Drawings. It still feels like I'm missing a day, so I'll have to double check.

Here's a dire weasel, because dire weasels are coo--- no, this isn't just as excuse to draw another kobold and I don't like that accusation thatyouverymuch I don't even know what a kobold is.

A couple of character portraits of two of the newest party members in my Carrion Crown campaign: Cincinattus the oracle of battle and Metheriel the elven conjurer.

We picked up Cincinnatus when we were burying our barbarian. He had the look of somebody who belongs in our party.

Also, Dungeons and Drawings has now officially hit 100,000 views! Thanks to everybody who's been looking at it and sharing it with their buddies.

100,000 views on the blog and a special gushy thank you to everyone written in detail there. Have made a picture of the 3.5 party, featuring the classic four-party classes. Here are Jozan the cleric, Tordek the fighter, Lidda the rogue and Mialee the wizard.

I'm gonna be having a guest week soon, once I get all my bits of art together from the others artists, which includes one internet famous person.

Why oh why isn't this image working everything is like the other posts why isn't it working.

Somehow I got unsubscribed from this thread and missed the dire weasel! Thank you for doing one, it is completely awesome. Probably my new favorite.

As to why that last image isn't working, I will bet $5 that it is because the image name includes an "&", and that is one of those "escape characters" that screws up everything after it. Rename the image and it will work.

Also, please let me know when Guest Week happens. I'd love to link to it.

Did a siege crab recently. Posted it on... Wednesday I think. This whole 'new image one Sunday' business is really turning out to be more of a suggestion than a solid fact. Still, I do manage to put up a monster a week though (as it averages out), so that's good.

Anyway, siege crabs are quite neat. Take one gargantuan-sized crab, add one part of evil subaquatic magic, one part protective runes and subtract one part guts. Apply magical controlling coral circlet. You now have a giant magic half-living crab to be used as a tank. Take that, merfolk!

It was one of those creatures that I'd been intending to do for a while but hadn't because maybe Joe'd want to do it at some point (he likes crustaceans). Well, it's mine now. Quite pleased with the positive reaction to it on the blog, I'd say.

Did an Elder Brain this week. It's a pretty neat (albeit epic level PC-worthy) monster. I sometimes wonder how fair it'd be to have this kind of monster in a lower-level campaign. You know, where there's monsters that are so absurdly powerful where the challenge isn't how you fight them, but rather how you avoid fighting them.

Monday is gonna be the start of a new guest week, which I haven't done in a while. It's gonna have lotsa really, really cool things that make me look bad by comparison. Includes one internet famous person! (Wowwy-wow-wow!)

Okay, somehow neglected to post links to guest week here last week.

I got lots of very good images for guest week. The kind that make me look bad (dang). It's made for a good week off. Well, relatively. I still have a lot of other work to do.

Anyway, here's the creatures and who drew them.

Mind Flayer by Antoine Porcheron
Forsaken Shell by Tony Comley
Sahuagin by Chris Cox
Death Night by Cristian Ortiz Martínez
Manscorpion by Oliver Cuthbertson
Gravorg by Emmie Bednall
Nycter by Katie Tiedrich

Katie also went and posted a link to Dungeons and Drawings on her webcomic and got me a crazy huge amount of new views and followers. Nnnnnice.

Think you may eventually do some of the other deities like you guys did Pelor?

I'll probably do some more deities at some point later on. I've started doing some sketches for ideas.

My own images now. I did a Crypt Chanter and an Arcane Ooze.

On the one side is the Crypt Chanter, which are wraiths that suck the life out of you by singing. A monster well suited for spookier campaigns, since it's the type of creature to appear and float around rather than attack. Or at least that's the way I picture it in my head.

On the other side, the Arcane Ooze. A monster that won't make you feel bad about targeting the party wizard who's gotten a bit too big for his britches. I normally shy away from oozes. Because they're hard to design. All that goes through my head "it's a blob it's a blob it's a blob how can I make it not just another blob".

Also a question, since I'm trying to do a monster for that Midgard contest. What do you use to determine how much SR a creature should get?
