| You are pretty spot on, Origami Master is an archetype we are using. And we have something sort of like the Powder Master, but an archetype for a different class. |

Wow, the Origami master sounds way cool!
As for the new classes - I'm a little underwhelmed by the steamcycle bozos, steam musicians and extreme chef classes. The clockwork disciple is interesting. I would definitely like to see more new mystic and ancient classes, though I can see that PF (and your established new classes) has most of that covered already...
Some kind of Taoist sorceror or a Jainist/Buddhist life-affirming philosopher? Though I'm sure I could create these easily by myself with judicious use of tweaking and archetypes...
Nice work on the kickstarter updates guys, and I hope you unlock the new race too - sounds very option-rich... _________________ einherjar/Oceanshieldwolf/Morgan Boehringer

| You are going to see a lot of that with the variant Archetypes for the classes, especially the 3 archetypes for the Pathfinder core/base classes. These archetypes are all going to be specific to the setting, so we'll have all your needs covered, without reinventing the wheel, so to speak. |

We keep getting questions about this, so I wanted to clear things up. At 15k our milestone reward is a box set. That means that everyone at the $100 levels and up will get the 3 books, GM screen, character sheets, and map in a old school box set, all prettied up with Rick's art.
We got 4 days to go. We are making this as awesome as we can, check it out, ask questions, let's make this happen!!

Nice Rick! I finally pledged to be a part of Steampunk Musha... Taken as a whole, your updates are easily the most artistic, informative and numerous of any kickstarter I've been a part of!!!

| Thanks for the compliment, I just want people to have a clear idea of what they are getting into. Did you have a chance to download the Explorer's Guide from drivethru/rpgnow? It's free and gives additional info on the setting. |

Yep I dl'd it a few days ago!!! As Endzeitgeist said in his paizo review, there are some interesting tidbits and the introduction of the new mechanic for damage to kyouran/spiritual essence sounds really cool. I'm liking this more and more....
If Steampunk Musha is very successful, has anyone thought of supplements outside Rosuto-Shima? - "Lands of the Lotus" - buddhapunk India/Khmer/Thailand, or even "Emerald Isles" feypunk Ireland/Albion... _________________ einherjar/Oceanshieldwolf/Morgan Boehringer

Well, Rosuto-Shima is an island and was always planned to be a part of a bigger world setting I wanted to do. So, beyond the island I have plans for other lands and people. So, with the kickstarter a success, most likely we'll produce the other settings the same way and have them all tie in together.
I co-designed Fat Goblin Shadows Over Vathak, which is going to print and distribution, and that setting could easily fit with some of my ideas of the other continents. |
