You may recognize me as an Admiral from Journeys to the West or a Diabolist from Midgard Tales. But tomorrow I embark on my greatest adventure. At 9 AM, I wed the most wonderful (and patient) woman in the world. So if by chance you have thought to yourself, where is that Dawsjax fellow, he's been absent the boards. Know I trade the time away from here for the time with my beloved. Expect my return by the end of June. I bid you safe travels until I return.

Congratulations! To add to Mongo's advice, I'd offer the following thought/mantra for times of disagreement:
'I'd rather have peace than be right'
It doesn't always apply, but when it does, here's an even more important note:
Don't say 'I'd rather have peace than be right' out loud where she can hear you!
