I recently bought (from rpgnow.com) the pdf of the new Midgard campaign and I absolutely love it, so now I would like to purchase the hard cover version.

But I don't see a version of the hard cover for sale here on the site that isn't already bundled with the pdf. Is a "hardcover only" package without the pdf for sale on this site. Or will I need to but the pdf again to get a hard cover copy of Midgard?

From what I've seen so far, the cost of the hardcover and softcover are identical with or without the PDF. I just saw the hardcover at my FLGS today (hooray!) and it has the same cover price as the bundle. So I suspect it's more like, if you buy the hardcover from here (or Paizo), you also get the PDF. ^^ Is that correct, people in the know?

That's correct, picking up the hardcover or softcover here or at Paizo gets you the PDF as a perk.

Or of course, you could also just pick up the print copy at your FLGS. Hooray, Xellos makes the first sighting of the MCS in the wild!

...I confess, I took a couple of pictures. ^_^;

Related to the original question: because I have purchased more than one copy, I have multiple PDF codes from RPGNow. I kept one for myself, obviously, but I plan to use the others as awesome gifts. That's technological possible, correct? That is, it's not tied to my email or account until the code is used, right? (Also a good way to buy Halloween presents. ^_^)

That is an excellent question. My understanding is that each code can be used once, but I don't know whether they are tied to an account. I sort of fear they might be.

Worth trying the experiment, anyway!

I imagine not, since I don't think my account info here is the same as my account info there- but I will let you all know!

Thanks for the prompt reply. Now I feel like a sucker for buying the PDF from rpgnow, but o'well.

Next time I won't listen to those bastard Gnome salesmen and just buy directly from the city of Zobeck!

I have confirmed that the codes (at the least the patron PDF codes) are not tied to an account.

Same here (I had received 2 as well).
