Yes, there are plans to create several such files. Ben McFarland has details, but at the moment focus is on the New Paths classes, followed by the Midgard Bestiary. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

And I've gotten a first swing at the Bestiary. I have scripts which generated most of the baseline material for the monsters in the Bestiary. I now need to hammer it into functional shape.

What would, specifically? I apologize if I'm wrong, but the link-as-signature has been a pornish spambot's footprint. And your choice of handle is...unusual.

Bot has been banned. There's been a growing level of spambots lately. Very annoying. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I'm interested by a Herolab file for the Midgard Campaign setting too.
Hell (or is it Hel ?), I'm ready to pay for it !
I use Herolab all the time, to the point it's become indispensable to me.
If I read about a feat or a trait in a Midgard setting product, I'd like to be able to select it in Herolab (rather than handcraft it, if it's at all possible: I know nothing about programmation, which makes the Herolab editor daunting to me).
I suspect there are more than two of us ready to pay for that, too . |

And we have been working on it. There's just been this little, 196-page collection of adventures which has been consuming a lot of my time. I know we've got some HL stuff brewing, and now that most of the Midgard Tales turnover is to the editor, well, I can put some more focus on it.

Please let me know as well if I can be of any help.
Since working on the files for the ESRanger and the EShaman, Open Design stuff has really been in my mind's eye... LoL
Midgard may have become my favorite setting ever |

| When the Midgard files are ready for Hero Lab, do you see them being a freebie, or a pay for? I know much work goes into them, as we've done some customized files for HL before. I just hope (but only hope) that they'd be free. If not, I'm sure it won't break the bank. |

im working on the midgard cs book atm,
languages are done and submitted to wolfgang
currently working through the feats this takes time as requiring some testing to ensure nothing is messed up in the process, as im learning while im working on them it takes time when coming up with some something that is odd in how it works.
once completed ill move on to magic items/equipment,
then races followed by any archetypes listed in the book.
each category will be included in a separate user file that can be added to the pathfinder folder.
all files will be submitted for approval. and hopefully posted for download for those who purchased the correct books.
once the setting book is finished ill move on to the other open design books for the setting in a similar fashion, most likely the wasted west players guide and book of drakes because im currently using materials from those books in my current game. afterwards i will let you guys decide what books from open design to work on until they are all coded.
hopefully there are others working this and could collaborate the work so as to speed up the process and not re invent the wheel so to speak. |
