| I second the ARG style treatments for the races. I loved the Huginn one. |

I second a "Elf Magic" supplement. It would be an appropriate place to put, not only an errata of the CS Elfmarked feat, but a declaration of intent for its existence and use in relation to the original homebrew. Also, nothing sucked quite as much as having "Orc Blood" with next to nothing to use it with back in 3/3.5.
Also, if we're careful and creative enough we might be able to make playing an elf less-than-desirable without actually making them suck. A'la Disney's Genie in Aladdin. Incredible power, tiny living space. As former rulers they presumably left behind a lot of responsibilities that they might be constrained by if they returned. _________________ Roachling avatar pic drawn by Alexandra Douglass.

*(Same for DARAKHUL - although not statted in the MCS they are in the Bestiary...and while we're at it, Huginn/Heru...

You get your wish! We have kobold, minotaur and gearforged traits, feats and archetypes in the upcoming Player's Guides to Midgard (written by Your Humble Author & the Amazing Christina Stiles).
*Nothing for Darakhul yet (that I am aware of), so sounds like an article query or PDF proposal for Wolfgang.....go for it! _________________ Adam W. Roy

I have something outlined for the darakhul, actually. It's been in my head since I wrote up the pathfinder PC race option in the Imperial Gazetteer. Once I can get Midgard Tales out of the way, I'll see about hammering it out.

Sounds good! Glad somebody is onto that. Will this be a deeper pass than that found in the Crossroads Players Guide - i.e. some racial archetypes, alternative racial traits, favored class bonuses etc? _________________ einherjar/Oceanshieldwolf/Morgan Boehringer

I'll third the nomination for a map.
Just got the Campaign Setting, and I love it. The one criticism I would have is that it doesn't come with a fold-out map, a la Forgotten Realms. I really missed that. Don't get me wrong, the maps in the book are gorgeous, but having a separate hand out that you can use as a reference would be *so* helpful when reading the book.
So, yes, a big, beautiful map.

I think I hear some votes for a map. One or two.
That makes me happy, as there's been a little progress on that front. I hope to have more news on it in February, March on the outside.
FWIW, the Midgard Atlas for the iPad is an excellent map at the table, but... Yeah, doesn't help if you don't have an iPad. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Mr. Baur,
Good to hear there's progress on the map front. I'm sure the tablet atlas is great, but alas the tablet I use still has lined paper on it.
Besides, you can't hang it on your wall.
I'm hoping you're still using Jonathan Roberts for the cartography work, yes? Please?
Once again, thanks for the awesome campaign world. |

Yes, I can confirm that Jonathan Roberts did the cartography for the world map part of the Midgard Atlas.
The city maps are by Sean Macdonald, Alyssa Faden, and Lucas Haley. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
