Purchased the setting and the players guide so far and I have gotten that old time feeling, which to some may be a bad thing, but rest assured in my case it is a grand thing! This setting, this wonderous creation that birthed forth from the mind of mister Wolfgang is a thing of immense beauty.
Not since, well, not since I was a teenager and first peeled back the plastic that had been wrapped around my first Forgotten Realms campaign boxed set have I felt the giddiness that I feel right now... a feeling that many 43 year olds have to shell out a sum for more than what I paid to obtain.
This friday will be our 3rd session in the Old Margreve, my 3rd trip to this magical place with my gamers and it has been a treat and an honor to share this wonderful setting with them.
I would like to thank you Wolfgang, and your awesome team for this creation. After 33 years of gaming and 30 years of running games you have given me yet another example of why I keep doing it and why I always have a smile on my face!

Thank you for that endorsement, and I'm very happy to hear Midgard hits the spot! It was very deliberately meant to bring back the wonder and old-school sense of fantasy.
The comparison to the early Realms makes me a very happy fellow indeed!! _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I feel much the same as TwistedGamer and have also been gaming for many years. Having previously spent much time in the Forgotten Realms and in my own Obsidian Portal campaign incorporating Planescape, Greyhawk and Faerun, I am now ready for a new outlook and Midgard has provided this.
I still only have the PDF and await delivery of my hard copy but what I read so far is most inspiring. I am going to have many questions about the deities but will spend some more time reading first.
Loving Midgard! |

Thank you Twiggyleaf and Twisted Gamer - we appreciate the positive feedback - if we may ask, please share your love of Midgard as far and wide as possible - post reviews over at Paizo.com and DrivethruRPG, post comments over at KoboldPress.com, blog and Facebook about how much you like it. We are small but fierce, and lack the marketing reach of a Hasbro or even a Paizo. Any "shout outs" would be appreciated....
Thanks again for your support! _________________ Adam W. Roy
