Thanks a bunch.
Does 25 bucks get me the actual print copy or just a pdf download?

I believe that's answered elsewhere. You get the pdf. Print copies are a separate charge through Lulu.com. (I guess the current page doesn't answer the question whether you can buy the print option now though.)

Is A kobold's Guide to Game Design going to be available?

Yes, though it will miss the original January ship date. I'm aiming for mid-February.

Current plan (per patron request) is that the print version will be a full color, softcover book. It'll run about 76 pages or so, and as varianor says, will be available to patrons from Lulu.com

That's cool - so 25 bucks gets me a PDF - any idea on how much the print copy will be through Lulu?
Sorry to be such a pain in the ass, Wolf, but I keep getting confused with all of the patron levels, print copies, limited editions, PDF's, cases of beer, T-shirts..........er......does my patronage include a case of beer? Laughing

We were going to announce this in March, but...

Open Design is pleased to announce The Open Keg Project. Patrons will be invited to an exclusive tasting at our new micro-brewery, located in sunny Juarez, Mexico. They will help us determine the six brews which will be featured at gaming events and conventions, all over the world, for ever and ever, Amen.

Steins and mugs sold separately.

Oh yeah. I am so there for that!

What's the first book? Empire of the Ghouls Gone Wild? Anchor Steam and Brass? Castle Lagercrag?

I am clearly in the wrong line of work! I've got that carboy and still here somewhere.... Little fermentation...

Just wait, I'm bringing Castle Guinness with me to GenCon, or possibly Kuo-Toan Pale Ale if it gets a little skunky.

Uh, back on topic, lessee, color 76 pages from lulu, I'm guessing they charge about $18 or so. Total guess.

Hi guys,

I'm a low-grade patron for Arabian Nights and I was just wondering how you guys will distribute the pdf.

I'm asking, because as Wolfgang knows, I can't access live journal from behind the "Great Firewall" of China.

Thanks,
KA

Oh yeah, and how long are we going to be able to post with these over-sized avatars?

Distribution will probably be through YouSendIt, given the likely file size. Is that going to work through the Great Firewall?

As to the avatars, I dunno. I sort of like the ridiculousness of it, but I think it's a php glitch.

What is your avatar? I'm pretty sure it's a hedgehog, but you never know...
