While they are both pretty busy these days, I like, know, and recommend James Keegan and Hugo Solis. |

You say they're busy, but do you think either one might be up for a pic or two in any of the current projects? If not do you know any artists who might be?
I started this thread and it figures that I forget to mention my own favorite artists. http://www.alexandra-douglass.com/ Mrs. Douglass I just met at GenCon and had make me the sketch I'm using for my profile pic. I dream of http://shirotsuki.deviantart.com/gallery/ doing some work for my own homebrewed world, but could see her doing marvelous work on the Lost City project, check out her use of lighting in pages 9-11 of her gallery. Shirotsuki suggested http://glych.deviantart.com/gallery/ , a girl that she is impressed with for the sheer spectrum of mediums with which she is proficent.
I also like http://www.raymondswanland.com/Pages/Gallery01.html but the last e-mail I sent him took a month to get a reply to, so I imagine he's a bit involved with his own work nowadays. _________________ Roachling avatar pic drawn by Alexandra Douglass.

78 page views and nobody except Goodsir Daigle has any suggestions!?! Come ON people! I KNOW a community of nerds as big as this knows some Artists. Suggest your friends, family that are wasting their talent, guys you don't know but you like the work of, crawl through DA, post on Myspace, Facebook, Twitter. Nothing ventured, Nothing gained!
If YOU are an artist post us your work or links to it. Open Design is a community that does much by consensus. Drumming up support certainly wouldn't hurt your chances of finding work here and considering the authors and developers that lurk on these boards while patronizing the various projects, it might help you find openings elsewhere too. _________________ Roachling avatar pic drawn by Alexandra Douglass.

Harry Lau is the artist that helped me with my book. He's got a distinctive style, but isn't familiar with gaming terms very much. For example, you'd have to let him know what a kobold looks like before asking him to draw one. _________________ -Jesse Butler

| Say, is Erol Otus still working? That guy bent my brain at a young age, and I appreciate it greatly. Not to everyone's liking, probably, but very distinctive, and nobody does 'protean' quite like him. |

| Also, Jonathan Hodgson, who does the covers for the 'Kobold Guides'. I quite like the new one. |

Erol Otis is indeed still working. He did the A-Z of Fantasy, and a few other things for Kenzerco, I believe.
I've a soft spot for his handiwork, myself.

Yes, on Jon Hodgson. He's done some work for me before, and he is awesome. |

Actually on the day you posted I asked a friend if I could post some examples of her artwork up here, but then found the website for the RPG she did a bunch of stuff for had vanished. I'm going to ask her if she has a deviantart or anything next time I see her as I think she's awesome, especially when it comes to work with a bit of a horror element. |

Sorry, I'm a bit impatient when I get fired up to do something, but 78 views suggests a LOT of people who don't seem inclined to involve themselves. It's irritating. When you or your artist friend find time, good, don't feel that I'm trying to rush you. What was the RPG if I may ask? _________________ Roachling avatar pic drawn by Alexandra Douglass.

A fair number of those "views" are web crawlers for sites like Yahoo and Google. _________________ John Ling
