More stuff up on Dungeons and Drawings, and continuing to fill requests. This week is a Fire Giant, as requested by somebody in Giant In The Playground, and that favourite monster of the frustrated GM, the Rust Monster.

The Fire Giant also comes in an animated version. What I'm posting up here is just a still.

OH BOY WINTER

Unfortunately, we aren't filling in any requests this week (though we're still going to go through them), so we can do a couple winter-themed posts. Of course we've taken these monsters from the Frostburn book, possibly one of Joe's favourite (contrasting my favourite, Sandstorm).

So to you we present the cruel queens of cold.

First up on the shivering solstice submission is the Snow Weird, dangerous but wise flurried fortune-teller. Permanently rooted in her swirling vortex of flakes, she can bestow boon and doom on those who come to her with an offering.

Trailing behind is the crouching crone, the Marzanna. Best offer her your best cattle and grain to spare your home, or you may yourself torn apart by her frigid fingers.

We've filled in two submissions this week, and both from Kobold Quarterly. I filled in Wolfgang's request for a Valkyrie, and Joe filled in Daigle's request for a Choker (which is looking exceptionally adorable).

We're gonna have a guest week soon. Beginning on the 10th of January we're gonna be having seven guest artists, one a day, showing us their interpretations of various Dungeons & Dragons monsters.

Requests filled in this week include another one for Wolfgang, the Sphinx, this time filled in by my partner Joe. I've done a Unicorn for one of the members of Giants In The Playground.

Also, we begin our GUEST WEEK tomorrow. We'll be doing an update per day, posting up an image by a different artist depicting a different monster from the Dungeons and Dragons collection.

Now why would a buncha smart fellas such as yourselves waste time looking at the old images on this thread when you could check out GUEST WEEK and see some new artists? And here I was thinking you guys were cool.

So far we've got a Peryton and a Redcap. And it's only going to get better over the next few days.

Hey there.

Sorry about the long time in getting back. We were going to post some animations last week, but we underestimated how long it would take us to make them. Or we underestimated our ability to not needlessly complicate something for ourselves.

While you wait for us to finish our animations, have the rest of the goblinoid family, featuring the Bugbear and Hobgoblin.

By the by, the other images for guest week were the Orcwort, Nalfeshnee, Glaistig, Umber Hulk and Thri-Kreen.

Three monsters this week instead of just two. One of them is the Troglodyte, the stinky lizard people. I did the Catoblepas and Gorgon, because they're both based on the same mythological creature.

We're almost done with our animations now, and we should have them done for next weekend.

Hey there fellas!

Remember how I said me and Joe were going to try and post some animations? Well, now they're finally done. Behold! As the Lizardfolk floats in its underwater environment! And as the Rust Monster hobbles around being generally quite cute!

Feels good to be able to take a break from animating for a little while.

More stuff this week, being the non-Jotunn Frost Giant and a Bulette that's very happy to see you. I think I'm gonna start planning a new animation soon, now that I feel a little rested from the last animation.

That Bulette is just a big happy puppy, isn't it?

Nice work!
