We run a large event (32+ people) at KublaCon every year and 2011 is no exception. We use Dwarven Forge to create several areas to crawl thru, and also intersperse some Live-Actionish interaction with NPC's and PvP to make a fun event. It is often drow-themed as well, or sometimes set in Waterdeep. Here are the past few years' of adventures to get an idea of what we do.

Anyway, this year, we are wondering if we should do 4E or Pathfinder, so I thought I'd post here and see what you guys think, as I'd hope you'd be representative of our audience.

| I think both games at this point are getting equal representation at cons, so I think either one is a good choice on your part. That said, since it sounds like a big event that would garner a lot of attention, I would like to see it run with my game of choice, the Pathfinder RPG. |

In my opinion, Pathfinder is the way to go! _________________ Marc Radle

Its too late to provide useful input, isn't it? Well I don't care, I'm answering it anyway!
Pathfinder! You should, without doubt, use Pathfinder. |

We are doing Pathfinder. One of the pivotal factors, in fact, was that Hero Labs tools seem to work just fine, and right now, the state of the D&D computers tools is an unknown. And let me tell you, doing stat blocks by hand just plain sucks. I think our GM packet last year was almost 150 pages. _________________ Rory Toma

150 pages? Wow, that is quite a substantial tome!
Happy to hear that you decided on my favorite game system, regardless of the reason.
My best wishes to you; I hope the adventure goes well. |
