A couple people (well, Patrick at least) have suggested either more sourcebook and/or longer adventures.
Keep in mind, Tales of Zobeck will be 80,000 words long folks... So there is a lot of room to discuss rules, setting, and adventure. But that said, if the patrons agree that they'd rather have 4 longer adventures of 12,000 words each instead of 10 adventure/side treks of about 5,000 words each (the Arabian Nights length), well, SO BE IT.
I think a low-level, mid-level, and a high-level would be a good way to go, honestly.
And if people want a little less adventure and more clockwork magic source material, that's fine. This sort of decision will be handled at the Outline stage, once the project is commissioned.
Another question will go to the patrons who have signed up; I'll post that for their discussion later. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I am very excited about this project!
My favourite homemade NPC in my Ptolus campaign is a kobold bounty hunter, so the more kobolds, the better! |

Hey Wolfgang!
I am down for Zobeck after all! I have been outvoted a couple of times now and it just doesn't make sense to vote for Shadow Feys right now no matter how much I love'em!!
BUT, how about going Ptolus-style on this?
Let me explain.
Personaly, I'd rather get somewhat fewer adventures but longer.
So if I am really in the minority (I can live with that!), and to help sell Zobeck, could you add another incentive à la ''Secrets of the Delver's Guild'' for us patrons?
Hell, you can even go Monte Cook all the way and then sell it to latecomers down the road!
Just throwing ideas...

There's been a call for longer adventures already, but the project is ALREADY close to Empire of the Ghouls length. I've heard arguments both ways.
We'll see how the polling goes. Doing it as an incentive piece that goes to the public might be another way to go. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I've put out a call for pitches on the Tales to the senior patrons, and some of them are starting to come back. If you want to participate in proposing a Tale (and maybe write it and see it in the anthology), the pitches are due from senior patrons in about a week.
I've also asked some Famous Freelancers from the Six Arabian Nights project whether they be interested. Their proposals (and mine) will be presented anonymously to all the Tales of Zobeck patrons for a vote....
This could be very humbling. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
