Turns out I have a seminar and Open Design meetup Saturday from 10 to 11 AM, so I can't make the morning slot work.
I'm (mostly) good with the evening slot. We'll see how my voice holds up. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

It didn't impact things last year and they even ran a convention in the embassy suites for the two days before GenCon, so I think we're good.

Here's an update:
The current two days for playtest are Thursday and Saturday. People that have spoken up for these games are:
Thursday night: 8pm-11pm (4E Game, Wrath Playtest, 5th Lvl PCs)
Terraleon
Valmiras
Varianor
TimRayburn
(Open) (KateRayburn if no patron joins)
(Open)
Saturday afternoon: (7-10pm 3.5E Zobeck Playtest, 4th Lvl PCs)
Watcher
sadrx
wills4223
FunkBGR
Daigle
snifferdoo
***Game Closed***
####
That leaves two slots definitely open.
If you don't like the night you're playing for reasons of Edition, pipe up now.
If you're playing on Thursday night: We're going to need to decide who's making what characters. We need a:
Fighter: (TimRayburn)
Cleric: (varianor)
Wizard:
Rogue: (terraleon)
Warlock: (Valmiras)
Ranger: (KateRayburn)
For the Saturday game: It appears that the 7-10pm will be the way it goes. Until directed otherwise, plan to bring a 4th level character.
Locations: TBD.

I'd posted this on the off-topic board regarding a pre-convention social gathering on Wednesday...thought I'd put it here, too:
***
Alright, so I looked around and found out that the Claddagh Irish Pub on 234 S. Meridian St (822-6274) would be more than happy to have us... They're about 2 blocks from the convention center, very easy to get to.
I know it's short notice, but I'm thinking 7ish pm. They're cool if we decide to break out the dice and the games, but I'm down with just having a few rounds...
Who's with me?

So is there a "day" associated with this time of 7:00pm? |

I planned on making a kobold rogue for the game.
Or do we know where we're meeting yet? If not, do we know who to contact while we're at Gencon to find out? |

Place is TBA, though there have been good suggestions.
I am maintaining contact information and will distribute (via email) the contact list on Tuesday 8/12. If you want to be on the contact list, please send me your board and/or LiveJournal handle, real name, and cell phone. My email is bill (little period) collins at gmail (little period) com(not community). Put GenCon OD Contact List (or something similar) in the contact line please.
If you know someone who has signed up for one of the games, but who hasn't sent contact information, please email them to get in touch with me. I have heard from:

I have some pregens that really fit the Zobeck theme and the level (a cleric, an aristocrat, take your pick).
So don't worry about it if you don't have a character in hand.
But yeah, not a lot of guidelines. It's a con game; bring what you want to play in an urban adventure. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Where did y'all end up playing? We reserved a bigger room to accommodate the bigger crowd and everything. I didn't have people's phone numbers on me, so I missed out. Poop. Tim Connors was around as well and wanted to watch from the sidelines.
Lemme know how the game ended up.

Ah, damn, I heard you were at the Canterbury, but at the time I couldn't figure it out. We were at the Hyatt.
Next year I'm booking the space differently, but then next year I may not be running a Saturday night event in any case. Voice is too shot by that time. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
