Once Wolfgang has an opportunity, usually less than 24 hours, he will enable you to see the invisible sections of the forums. There you will be able to read posts and vote on stuff. There is a whole lot more to it than that, but the easiest and first step is wait to be "turned on".
Look for a forum called "Crossroads", and you'll need to be logged in, because it is tied to your specific forum account. _________________ Jim Groves

Awesome, and welcome. Trust me, the content there will only balloon over time. You're in early (or just nicely at the start). That's a good thing for a first timer. _________________ Jim Groves

I'm in as a Senior, and will probably upgrade later on. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the world! _________________ -Jesse Butler

Good news, the project is 90% of the way to its funding goal. It is on track to start design in a hurry! _________________ Wolfgang Baur

| If 4E does not make it, I assume I can drop my patronage....not sure I would, but I'd think about it. |

Yes, you absolutely can get a full refund if the system decision goes another way. Totally your call.
UHF, I think I know what happened. Your access is all set, apologies for the delay. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

With this project how do you intend to integrate the story with the mechanics? Even if all three of the top contenders were chosen, i.e. Pathfinder, 4E and Dragon Age, they all offer different mechanics. So an idea that would fly and be awesome with one system, may fail with the other.
Or will the most popular choice take the lead in story and mechanics and the others will have to implement in close proximity.
I hope this makes sense. |

I know we're only doing two sets of mechanics, based on the current patron preferences.
I suspect because this is setting design rather than an adventure, we'll take different approaches to those mechanics. I'll explain this in quite a bit more detail in the outline stage. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I'm hopeful that system-specific material is on the limited side.
I'll freely admit my biases: 4e is my D&D of choice, and it's very easy for me to design encounters and stat up villians. I'd rather the space was spent on setting. |

Sigh. Decisions, decisions... _________________ -S2

Yeah, I can't quite believe it either, but just not enough people signed up for 4e. So there it is.
OTOH, the project is 85% setting and 15% rules, so... It may still be of interest. Certainly the setting has supported 4E play in the past. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
