Thanks for the reply, a quick question before we start the game in 1 hour, when the party reach teh shadow court they can only go through rooms 1-13 right?
and after the first night they fight the first Monolith?
1 question about the Monolith, isn't it too easy? being a minion?
would appriciate an answer the soonest.

Hi Richard.
Yes we still play, problem being that for the last month we moved the game sessions to suterdays and I didn't had the time to sit down and post is up, luckily tomorrow is an holiday so you can expect a three sessions worth of updates.
What can I say, RL sucks.

Sorry I missed this earlier.
Yes, monolith is a minion with relatively high AC but is meant to be easy. However, it keeps coming back every so often...
Looking forward to a writeup! _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Ok, taken me a while but here it is.
So the party have entered the shadow road and got rid of the ghouls in shadow Zobeck, I only ran the encounter with the giants and for that fight Pretorian, the Swordmage, wasn't with the group so it was a difficult fight for them.
Gardane the dwarves priestvand Ace the daggermaster both passed through the portal at the top of the hill and got raccoon eyes for it, jinx and kale joined them shortly after at the foot of the climb to the shadow courts.
At the top of the stairs there were two Footmens gaurding the door, they told Jinx (since he was the only fey creature with the group at the time) that the party is free to stay for the night but they have to leave come morning.
At the lower court the party was confused because of the look of the place, it seemed deserted, after some picking around they met a fellow traveler Zandar the Eladrin archer (a new player) who've been kidnaped form Zobeck as some sort of a fey prank. The party continue to explore the empty rooms and deserted corridors even managing to get lost in the tunnels under the palace for a few hours but saw only ravens, when night fell they decided to go to sleep.
in the morning they were greeted by a footman that came to escort them out, after the short fight they continued exploring, they tried to go through the shadow door to the royal court and failed then they encountered another footman at the entrance to the winter palace, after defeating it Pretorian managed to open to door.
The party was well on it's way to get enough status to start seeing the court when Gardane decided that he wants to start chopping down the tree in the yard just outside the gate to the winter palace, I must admit I was a bit lost for words but I decided to just use it to reenforce the fey nature of the court and say that after a few chops the tree seems to heal before their eyes, but before I managed to do so Gardane decided that chopping is not enough and threw alchemist fire on the tree lighting it up in seconds.
I had no choice so next thing the party new the court changed and the found themselves in a teeming yard with the blind seer, 14 archers, the black prince and three of his dogs demanding their surrender for vandalism, the group attacked.
My plan was simple, hit each character with a sleeping arrow and proceed to the scene in the servant court, I also cheated a bit and gave the witch an orb that caused a zone where every one got -5 to saving throws to make sure they fall asleep, it didn't worked as I planed it to work and the fight lasted for the better part of two hours mainly revolving around my tring to bring Pretorian down, in the end I just brought another 14 archers and just shot him with all of them on the same round...
That eproximatly two sessions worth of play, I'll post the last two tomorrow.
I can say that though,so far the encounters seems awfully easy, especially the foot mans and the cloaks.I think that for future groups they should be upgraded to elite with a bunch of HP.
To be continued

Thanks Warder. I'm interested in your comments that the adventure is too easy as written, as I'll be running for characters maybe a level above the recommended levels. What PCs are you running for?
Cheers

5-6 characters:
Eladrin Swordmage, dwarven battle cleric, human rouge dagger master, gnome wizard, human bard and Eladrin ranger (archer).
As you will see innmynnext write up the gnome wizard and the human bard switched to half ing monk and human invoker.
My suggestion is to go withbthe extra damage rules and keep the original HP of the monsters, either that or go withbthe extra damage rules and add some monsters to the fight.

Yeah, you should also consider the fact that the combats are usually spaced some days apart so your players will probably have a lot of powers at their disposal.

Just wanted to give a little heads up, no we haven't stoped playing I was sick for a bit and half my players are in the middle of exams periods for things like physics 2 and macroeconomics so we are in the middle of a small break.

Ok just a quick heads up, we are indefinitely on hold due to some crisises in the gaming group, RL sucks.
I hope to pick this up in a month or so but right now the chance of that happening is less than 20%, did I mentioned that RL sucks?
