We ran a large, PVP-themed Pathfinder event at KublaCon 2011, running on Dwarven Forge (I'll post pointers to pics later)

Here is what we actually did:

The basic premise is that Menzoberranzan was under attack, and the characters had missions to deal with, and they used these rewards to pay for resources to defend the city. They also had an enemy house that they could eliminate in the process.
