tenletter review of Streets of Zobeck

Congratulations to Ben McFarland and all of his crew and authors!

My apologies I can't name you all of by memory, but my intention is to include you in the glory.

Well done by everyone involved!

EDIT: In fact, sound off and take a bow if you like!

Thanks for posting that, Jim. Ben did a wonderful job on that anthology and deserves many, many kudos! It's a great book because of great leadership.

A great book for many reasons, and yes, Ben led that project to a terrific noir place, with both great flavor AND really high utility at the table. Not an easy balance!

I'd add that he had some excellent help from Richard Pett, Mike Franke, Matthew Stinson... and you Christina.

From the review: I was not at all surprised to see the reviewer is stripping it for parts in fantasy, SF, and modern games--lots of great locations and characters in Streets of Zobeck!

Ok, the writers did a good job, too. Smile I've been mining it like crazy for my own Zobeck campaign.

I'll run a Midgard online game if C and Mongo run Streets and the like....

Heck, we should run one online game with a G+ Hangout just to, erm, test the technology. Yeah, that's it.

I have a burning desire to finally play in this great big world I've only read about and seen developing.

I'll see whether I can talk Christina or Mongo into it.

Ask me again as soon as the next manuscript turnover happens. Should be some time for this game in ... November?

And wow am I derailing this thread. Let's take it to the patron forum, shall we?

I was senior on SoZ and learned A LOT from my experience there. I consider it some of the best OD material ever! My adventure pitches didn't get chosen but I was very pleased to see the Stolen Identity spell and Small Treasures article get critical acclaim! A special thinks to Ben, Richard and Christina for their encouragement and coaching!
Huzzah!!
