Am I the only to have noticed those ads in KQ 19?
Are some of the chapters sold individually for the Midgard campaign setting? Or is this something other?

These are, in fact, separate from the campaign setting stuff; they've been heavily discussed on the regional threads, as MightyMongo has written much of them.
They're just what they sound like, material for PCs rather than the DM. Won't ship this year at the rate things are going. I'm waiting on final layouts for both.

You have no idea, Patrick...new traits, feats, spells, magic items, campaign teasers...everything player fun-fun the patrons could think of funnelled thru the fevered imaginations of Wolfgang, Brandon & Myself....!

Not to sound pushy or anything, but do you guys have some ETA on these things?
I'm assuming if they're advertised in KQ they are close to done, but unexpected delays crept up?

The unexpected delay is in layout. Things like Dark Deeds in Freeport, Kobold Quarterly #20, and others are also a priority, so .... Not enough layout + graphics folks to get everything done!
We'll have them when they are ready, and I am quite excited by them.

They are not loaded up, and probably won't ship for a while yet. We hit some bumps with development, art, and editing (different things for different ones). They'll definitely ship in 2012.

Geez, Brian, give us a chance to get the PF versions out first...more seriously, the 7 Cities & Wasted West guides have been written and reviewed, and have gone for final editing and layout, but are queued up behind Dark Deeds and some other projects, as WB states above. We have started work on Dragon Empire & the Steppes/Plains Guides, but those are farther back in line, so I wouldn't expect those until 2Q12, at least. But this is OD, so we always have plenty in the pipeline: bestiaries, etc, so not to worry.
In the meanwhile, the more noise you & your cohort make on the boards and elsewhere for 4e OD products, the easier it is to covince the Great and Mighty Kobold to spec out those projects...!

The more PDFs that sell, the more likely we are to see a print version, similar to the Advanced Feats PDFs and softcover...so buy some PDFs for your friends, and get the printed softcover for yourself!

There is currently no plan for these in print. As Mongo says, if the PDFs do well, then we'll certainly consider offering a print edition.
