I'm planning on running Courts of the Shadow Fey in my 4e FR/Planescape campaign. I don't really know anything about Zobeck except for what's in the adventure and in the first 5 google hits.
I'm using 3e FR in a 2e planescape universe...where would Zobeck fit in best? In a region of the FR, or on what plane? Maybe someone who knows both the midgard and the above mentioned settings has some good tips?
The campaign was focused mainly on the region around Thay in FR, Sigil, and Baator, the nine hells. |

Zobeck fits best on a large, navigable trade river near a big forest. That's a lot of possible places in the Realms, so maybe just pick your favorite near Thay. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

| Thanks, that helps! Looking at the FR map, i'll place either below the Lake of Mists where the Clearwater crosses the Golden Way, or near the northern end of Lake Ashane near the Falls of Erech and Erech forest. |

Sounds great! Let us know how it goes - we always like to hear what everyone is doing with this stuff...! _________________ Adam W. Roy

Could we possibly have a "Zobeck in a Myriad Campaigns" article either on the site or the actual Kobold Quarterly magazine, indicating which place would be ideal to put Zobeck in in various campaign settings, such as the Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Pathfinder, etc.?
Or is merely mentioning the WotC settings in such a manner a problem? |

It's not a problem to discuss on the boards or anywhere public, but putting a lot of Realms-specific (or other setting-specific) information into a KQ article could be a problem. Whenever Kobold Quarterly does a Golarion article, for instance, the Paizo people review it first and grant special permission (or deny it).
For Golarion, the answer is the River Kingdoms, btw. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
