When the print version of Dragon magazine folded, Kobold Quarterly stepped in and filled the void.
But TSR/WotC had one other magazine: Dungeon.
Now the various Patron Projects are truly wonderful, but they tend to be geared toward big stuff. So, are there any plans to someday put out a publication to fill the void left by Dungeon?
Or if not a magazine, maybe some sort of "ongoing" Patron Project: Subscriptions would last for a limited amount of time (six months? a year?) and you get to work on whatever dungeons happen to be in development during your membership period.
Opinions? Alternate ideas? |

I actually brought this up at Paizocon this year, half-joking, at a panel Wolfgang was leading, and he nearly choked. If he didnt have to reach past Lisa Stevens to do it, I think he woulda smacked me in the kisser. . . !
Seriously, 150% of Wolfgang's time is already (over) committed to Shelly, the girls, KQ, Midgard and 4+ plus awesome OD projects a year (PLUS trying to make Jeff G. wet his pants @ the weekly game. . .) He just doesn't have any bandwith left. . .unless YOU are offering to become a full-time publisher, Amy? . . .!

I am 100% in favor of someone else founding an RPG magazine of exactly this type. It could be awesome, and I will happily subscribe! _________________ Wolfgang Baur

| For some manner of quarterly publication featuring adventures, I'd keep my eyes peeled, because I'm certain something's on it's way. |

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking!
Daigle, that is an intriguing teaser you tossed out for us. As I can tell from the number of quick responses to this thread, many of us will be waiting... |

Hmm ... that certainly was interesting and cryptic!
What do you have cooking sir? And ... do you need any help? _________________ Marc Radle

All I'm comfortable to say right now (since I'm not the publisher), is that there was a project at one point that was intended to fill this gap, then ran into a problem, and lingered for a while. Another publisher heard about the project and scooped it up from publisher #1 and from what I understand, will be publishing the undisclosed product.
I only know this because I wrote an adventure for it. |

Oh, was it the WereDragon thing? With the purple succubus on the cover? |
