Yeah, I wrote an adventure for Pulp Cthulhu 5 years ago, but I've sort of given up hope that it will ever see print.

So, I figure why not do the Indiana Jones wahoo adventure I've always wanted to write? Even if it winds up as a fantasy scenario, I'd want to make it easy to port into the modern day, or Dreamlands, or Cthulhu Dark Ages.

I'm not one of those rabid Editionistas, but I must admit that will certainly color my ultimate decision to become a patron for any of these projects.

I voted for Lords of Lost Arbonesse -- I've always liked underwater adventures and the pulp Cthulhu/Indiana Jones vibe plus the mention of aboleths did it for me.

I like most of the other ideas too, although I am keen that the next project is 4e. I think have enough 3.x adventures to last me until the end of time!

Cheers

Richard

I live for monster design, so I voted for the Kobold bestiary and at this point either edition is still a viable choice. A second vote would go for the Courts of the Shadow Fey preferably 3E, but acceptable with 4E. As 4E it seems that it would be a nice tie-in with Wrath of the River King. After that the it drops off tremendously.

So . many. choices. O.o

I had to go with the angels, but man the rest of them sound sooo good! I will have to say that although im not a h4ter, I can only afford to support the 3E projects at this time. Hopefully some of the 3E patron projects will get greenlighted. Smile

I voted for Angels (4e pls), but I'd really like to see Lords of Lost Arbonesse too.

I voted for Courts of the Shadow Fey, as I just love the flavor of such things, blame the Gaelic in me, but if it gets slaughtered, and it would matter, I'd easily move that vote to Lords of Lost Arbonesse. Very Happy

Angels of Our Better Nature
and then the Shadow Fey...
But I would have picked the Shadow Fety #1 if it was 3e for sure... I love the idea.

...adn Cthulhu for #3 because you can never go wrong with Cthulhu.

The lack of support so far for the pure 4E project surprises me (and it may be a statistical aberration of launching the poll on the weekend).

Given that trend so far, well, I think that a 3e project is currently pretty likely. Ultimately, it depends on whether folks support it with donations as well as with votes, of course.

I'm hoping for Angels of Our Better Nature- as long as it's 3.5E. Smile

Hi Wolfgang,

Not to threadjack or anything, but does this poll mean the next KQ issue is in the can?
And how close are we to seeing Tales of Zobeck?

Or maybe you are slowly going insane from working on all these things, needed the rest and did not need to be reminded? Wink

The print version of the next KQ is going to press this week. It will take a week to print and a week to ship, and so I really really really hope it arrives to subscribers in time for Halloween.

The PDF version I'm still working on. There's bookmarking troubles, but I'll sort it out.

The Tales of Zobeck project is with the editor (and mapper, and artists). I hope to send it to layout in a week or two, and yet... I don't think it will ship in October. I'd love to be wrong, but... Too many delays. Not least of all mine.

On the plus side, the materials I've seen for Tales so far have been fantastic.

Yes, the KQ issue for October would be nice! With Halloween and everything...

I can wait a few days for Zobeck.
...
I guess...

Thanks!

Although I am a huge fan of the dark fey theme, I have voted for Angels of our better Nature. Why? Because Richard Prett is probably going to do something in this manner via Sinister Adventures.
Bottom line, as long as it is 3.xE I am so supporting Angels. Smile
