I'm interested in being a patron on a 4e Open Design project, but it seems like Wrath of the River King is probably wrapping up and thus I may not get much out of a patronage at this point.
1. How much longer is Wrath of the River King likely to be under development?
2. When might the next 4e Open Design project get started?
I'd appreciate answers to either or both questions. |

1) You're right, Wrath is almost done with design, and entering playtest and edit. The window on that project is definitely closing.
2) The next one will start with commissioning, outline, and initial brainstorms in about a week to 10 days. So I'd recommend holding out for that if you want to see the process from the beginning. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

Awesome. I'll wait for that (and maybe purchase Wrath of the River King).
(a 4e senior patronage is going to make a good birthday present.) |

The Edition of the next project has not been decided yet. It will be decided the amount actually donated, so if a proposed 4E project raises more money than a 3.5 project (or vice versa), that will be the deciding factor.
I say that as one who is "Edition Neutral", but I'm adding to that.. also tell your friends who might be interested.
Money talks when it comes to deciding which edition.. and if the final choice ends up being selected that you don't like- you can get a full refund. This is "the commissioning."
The choices of the commissioning should be known soon (as week to 10 days), as the Artist said. |

Just as a status point, Wrath of the River King is in edits now, and I've gotten the first round of editorial questions.
I expect the editing process to take at least 3 weeks, so we'll go to layout in December. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
