Hi,

I bought the Pirates PDF a couple of weeks ago and am slowly reading through it.

I loved Mechuiti in KQ #23 and so was interested in reading about the island the demon lives on. I am a bit confused by the Major Locations of Interest on Palau Kelaparan which are numbered in a way which made me think there should be a map. Is there one in another product?

Cheers

Richard

I believe that's a map rolled into the Bosun material.

We had no cartography budget for Pirates when that arrived, as I understood it, and Palau Kelaparan was a very last minute addition.

The island template required areas be numbered, so each place would have had some designation...we could have cut that when we realized the map wasn't coming, that probably would have reduced confusion.

The map's being done on a volunteer basis, *I think.* However, the potential cartographer isn't online for me to confirm.

-Ben.

I did send a pencil sketch map with the final draft of Palau Kelaparan, but as Ben notes, we didn't really have a map budget...Brian Suskind ("Our Man in LA/Peter Jackson's Evil Twin") is rumored to be doing some pro-bono map work, but where and when (and if?) his lovely maps will appear is still very much up in the air...."Watch this space..."

Worst case, PM me and I will email you a scan of the original pencil-sketch map....

BTW - love the awesomeness you and Brian have been doing on the 4E stuff - keep up the good work!

Hi Adam,

Have sent you a PM. A map would be great.

Glad you like the Bestiary etc. We're very excited about Defenders of Midgard which is coming soon.

Cheers

This is the player supplement for Midgard using 4th Edition D&D rules. It was a reward for backers of the Midgard Bestiary for 4th Edition Kickstarter, and will be sent to backers in the next few days.

Should be available for the public before the end of the year.

It contains themes including Clockwork Mage, Planewalker and Midgard Elementalist, Schools of Clockwork & Glyph magic, backgrounds and more. It's written by Brian Liberge, me, Paul Baalham and John Pope.

Cheers

I dont have the product but if you would like a battlemap I can make one that is print and paste in 1" squares for your encounters. I would do this free of charge for you.

I would need something to go on in order to be able to do it, a scale pic if possible.

Let me know. I use CC3/DD3. They are pretty nice for the game table.

Thanks!

That's a very nice offer - thanks. At the moment, I'm just reading through the adventure and it will make more sense with sketch maps Adam has sent me.

Cheers
