Yeah! That last mini is way cool. All very good! I like the beguiler from concept to maquette, iguana man/details (forgot to mention I'm a lizardfolk fan!) the skeletal fish riding skeleton and the ettin concept looks cool...your renaissance monocleer/oculary looks great!
Well done Mick! _________________ einherjar/Oceanshieldwolf/Morgan Boehringer

thanks again man I thought id show a few more eyecandy items..we have a female elf and her bodyguard construct also..the construct is part metal and flesh. It is a older sculpt so we suspect it needs some touch ups on the armor and maybe a helmet plume..also the base is a peg system base where the mini will fit with the base you see or also in a slotta type base.

Something I saw suggested on the Reaper KS comments that you might do is translucent/clear oozes, puddings, and cubes. Mold some to be huge (or larger) that have a cavity underneath so you can put them over other minis. A set of Gelatinous Cubes could do double work as shot glasses. This could also work for Swarms.
You mentioned during our FB conversation that you could use magnets to hold the legs onto Baba Yaga's Hut. If you reversed the magnets in your minis, you might be able to get some "floating" effects as they repulse each other. Also, have you considered putting micro LEDs in them? They get pretty damn small, as do the batteries (which could be put in the base) and, properly painted, would be awesome for Ghosts, Liches, Angels, Fire Elementals as well as newer PF monsters like the Lurker in Light and Shining Child. Imagine "Everburning Torches" set in pedestals along a dungeon corridor, a sword buried in a glowing stone waiting to be drawn, or a light leaking around a door standing slightly ajar in its frame. A pile of treasure mini's metallic paint would really pop with translucent gems glowing down from the top of the pile. _________________ Roachling avatar pic drawn by Alexandra Douglass.

There is so much cool stuff in the Midgard 'verse that I'm glad it is being turned into miniatures.
That said I would much rather see plastic than metal, perhaps like Tre Manor (Red Box Games) you can work with Trollcast to produce plastic minis at an affordable price to both you and us?
The recent succsess of both Red Box Games and Reaper minis on kickstarter (especially the latter) really points to the need to produce the unique things of Midgard. Barbarians are nice, but Red Box just funded a bunch of them in the same sort of style as you are showing. Reaper obviously just turned out a lot of models that will be set at a price point of $2-$3 as both PC and monster variants. So for Midgard miniatures I'm looking for that really Midgard specific stuff, especially the monsters. _________________ @ObsidianCrane

ObsidianCrane, that is entirely possibly((plastic wise)) as the Midgard Kickstarter should be a go this or next week. The idea to put them into resin as the first step..metal the 2nd..and third would ideally be plastic ((injection))...it will be up to you guys who are Midgard/Zobeck fans to help indeed make this happen ..help spreading the word like mad etc.again thanks for the great input I totally agree...again keep in mind Reaper has been in business for 20 years+ and has a huge following and can afford it now with a near 3.5 million ending KS funding they just made & can afford to make minis that cheap |

Oh I don't expect Reaper prices from you, from a small start up I'm fine with paying up to around $8 for a character model (see Red Box Games). The point is that you are competing with that.
For example Reaper has a large minotaur for $3.50 and are obviously going to be adding a whole lot more options to their cheap plastics line.
So when picking models they really need to be Midgard miniatures!
So I would think:
- Clockwork Characters & monsters
- Alseid Characters
- Bone Crab
- Brodiken
- Burrowling Characters
- Carrion Beetles
- Castigas
- Derro Fetal Savant
- Dire Weasal
- Kobold Characters (there are heaps of cheap generic kobolds, they need to be Kobolds with clear Midgard flavour)
- Dogmole & Dogmole Juggernaut
- Dream Eater (ok just because its my monster )
- Eel Hound
- Imperial Ghoul
- Dust Goblin
- Goblin Shark
- Leshy
- Roachling Characters
- Gypsosphynx
- Wharfling & Wharfling Swarm
Obviously a few more PC models that show Midgard cultural gear and symbols would be good as well. _________________ @ObsidianCrane
