Are there any new open design projects on the horizon looking for patrons? _________________ -S2

Discussion will start among the Midgard Tales major patrons in November. October is all about the Midgard campaign book, KQ23, and a few smaller releases.
There's a lot on the Kobold Press release schedule right now, so much so that I can't really do justice to a new project just yet. However, I expect to make a public announcement of the next project in January. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

| What exactly is required to be one of the people leading an Open Design project? What do you need to offer, and do you pay KQ or does KQ pay you? And what sorts of general ideas are we looking for in the next groups of Open Design projects? |

Taking these questions in order:
1) Generally, you must have participated in at least one prior Open Design project
2) You need to pitch a proposal that meets the specs given out (page count, system, pitch word count)
3) That pitch needs to win approval from me and/or the senior patrons of prior projects. That is, it needs to be better than all the other pitches submitted, and it needs my ok.
4) Kobold Press pays the lead designer to design the project, just as it pays the editor, layout designer, artists, etc.
5) Design specs for the next project will be released sometime in November _________________ Wolfgang Baur
