So, there's been some discussion about offering a print-only option for Open Design. Would that interest you?

I'd prefer PDF + Print option for all, but if it has to be another way then PDF for basic and PDF + Print option for others is the best of the lot.

I'd prefer if everyone got the pdf, and basic patrons had access to a marked up print version. Senior patrons would have access to the at cost print version. So if the cost to print costs $20:

Basic would be able to purchase a print copy for $30.

Senior would be able to purchase a print copy for $20.

I like having both, but I will probably be a senior patron (waiting for next paycheck) so it won't really effect me. Print is my priority though.

I like Deinol's solution. More and more I like having both print and PDF, a switch from my recent preference of print over PDF.

So I guess I'll be voting "other" in this one.

deinol's solution seems ideal.

I like Deinol's solution as well.

It's gotten so that every time I put up a poll, I know I'm missing the best option... Smile

Elegant solution Deinol. I'm in on that. (Well, I can't change my vote, but subtract one from option 3 and add it to the Deinol pile)

Very Happy

At this point I'm the only person who voted for option 2, but as I already stated I think deinol's solution is the best, and I would have voted for that given the option.

I think Deinol's solution works all around.

Everyone will have the print option; patrons who contribute more to funding the project pay less for their print copy, and may get it free and autographed.

So, will update the posts accordingly.

Yep, I can live with Deinol's proposed cost structure.

So, there have been a lot of ideas thrown around on several different threads regarding various aspects of patronage levels. Can I get a clarification on what levels are receiving what benefits now?

I'm stoked that basic-patrons get a print option, even if at a mark-up, but am also considering uprgrading to the $50 (professional?) membership, which I didn't know existed, to give a bump to the OGL/3E version commission. Does that patron level get an at-cost print option? what benefits do pro's receive versus basic? Have these descriptions been updated on the Store or FAQ pages yet?

The current list is posted on the front page in the announcement
http://www.koboldquarterly.com/.

The only thing that changed is that basic members now have access to print-on-demand.
