I am going to Gen Con 2009. I expect to run several games while there. I anticipate putting on at least one Open Design-inspired game. Members here will get priority of entry. Any suggestions or preferences?
Zobeck, Empire, Six Arabian Nights or possibly even Halls are all good starting places of course....
(I would post this as a poll, but I haven't figured that out yet.) |

If I were able to come (I don't think I'll manage this year) I'd vote Empire, simply because that's the one I don't have so I'd love to play it. |

I ran Gravebinder's Daughter from 6ANand the table loved it. We even pumped it up to about seven players, I think. That whole anthology lends itself well to convention play.
Sean McDonald, who does a bunch of the cartography for OD was there, I'm sure he could tell you about it.
I'm thinking of running from Tales of Zobeck this year at Gencon, probably Redcloak Ruckus with a wad of pregenerated characters again.

Whatever gets run, please let me know where it's gonna be. We had a room ready for the OD/KQ crew last year and things changed last minute and the Werecabbage Feasthall was minus a very important guest table. It was even on the placard. |

| Really? Is this space we can count on? (The invite is awesome. I don't remember seeing it last year. Sorry.) |

Yeah, we had a few tables set up, but something happened last minute and I ended up not getting to see you guys. I was bummed that I couldn't complete my "Match Names to Faces" scavenger hunt. |

| Please let us know when and where the OD games are gonna be run. I definitely want to get in on them. Between those and Pathfinder Society, I'll be pretty much tapped out. |

| Just to be up front about things, there's an increasing chance that I won't make Gen Con this year due to certain things colliding. If I do go, I would schedule the games for the Open Gaming area (like the Hyatt) unless space is offered and we know about it in advance. All will be announced well before folks depart of course. Anyone else running a game will presumably do likewise. |
