Bizarre and amusing, yet not at all funny if you're the poor sap snuggling down to sleep in one! Just goes to prove that the real word (well real world myth) can always throw up wierder things than any game designer could sensibly get away with.

I really like the idea of starting an adventure with the PCs bedding down on these constructs (probably higher level characters since they'll be in alone in the dark and wearing nightshirts). It feels perfect for a roadside inn in Ravenloft , a place run by vile gnomes, or a a D20 modern roadhouse from hell.
