Just got my copy of the new Pathfinder RPG book and ... wow. Just ... WOW!
It is beautiful! And BIG!
I can't wait to dig and read it! _________________ Marc Radle

I find the hardest part is remembering to approach it like a new system. It is way too easy to make assumptions about the little things.
For example, since I knew all the basic terms, I skipped the glossary. But it is in the glossary entry for hit points that it defines the starting hit points. It hasn't actually changed, but I wanted to verify and it took me a while to find it since I automatically skimmed past the introduction.
On the whole, a very nice book. My 3.5 game is converted and I look forward to getting a good feel for the new version. _________________ -Jesse Butler

The book is utterly fantastic! It's put together amazingly well, neat, and vibrant! I almost wish I had learned D20 here! And the Paizo team wins!!

Yep, I got my pdf of it and it looks really nice indeed. Definitely considering getting my players to have look and discuss swapping from 3.5.

Love it! When my 3.5 campaign starts up again in the future (after my 2nd edition ToEE this year!) I'm going full tilt Pathfinder.
Pathfinder, not 4E is the future of D&D.
Heh, I might just put that rhyme in my sig. |

I agree whole heartedly with the poster above me. Once I get the money to buy it (or maybe ask for it for my birthday, hmmmmm) I certainly will. What little I've seen makes me drool in excitement about getting it.

My gaming group is 4e, but I really want to read Pathfinder and see what the buzz is all about. (I skipped straight from 1st Edition AD&D to 4th, which is probably fortunate because I can approach PF as a completely new game.)

I highly recommend you give it a look - the Pathfinder RPG really is, in my opinion, a FANTASTIC game.
I've played every edition from 1st on and for me, the Pathfinder RPG is the best version of the D&D game out there.
Just my opinion - no edition war flame fanning please!!! _________________ Marc Radle
