Since this site seems to be the new hotness for my fellow kobolds, I figured I'd ask about this AP (oops, sorry, "Campaign Saga.")
What do people think of it so far? I think 9 out of 12 parts have been released, AND it appears (unbeknownst to me) that our resident Kobold-in-Chief has penned Sleep, Ye Cursed Child for it.
I haven't checked it out yet - mini- reviews?

I'm currently playing through it. We're only on the second adventure, but so far it's quite enjoyable. There's a good amount of variety, and I like that the threat is a mortal one (as opposed to a demi-god/demon prince).
My only complaint is that there are elements that are a bit too railroady. I'm okay with some, but there was one encounter in particular that was too much for me. |

Yes, more info on this for me, too. I've been dying to know more, but I just can't bring myself to actually spend any time over at ENworld. For some reason I start itching every time I think about it... _________________ 100% Greyhawk grognard and proud of it. Now, all you kids get off my lawn! |

Yeah, it definitely feels a bit railroady, though it also has HUGELY creative elements in the plotline and it wanders off in non-standard directions several times (psionics, the war angle, etc etc).
I like to think that "Sleep Ye Cursed Child" is one of those wanderings. People are really going to love it or hate it. Playtest for it went really well, but it was an in-house playtest, so.... Take that with a grain of salt. _________________ Wolfgang Baur

I only just looked at this thread today; hadn't heard of War of the Burning Sky before. It's a D&D adventure, right?
It sounds quite interesting. Can anyone point me to a review somewhere, or provide an overview so that I can decide if it is suitable for my campaign? And most important - where can I buy a copy? |

It is a D&D adventure, I have no idea where it might be reviewed, and you can pick up a copy of it (or it's installments) at ENWorld. _________________ Wolfgang Baur
