Its a D&D 3.5 Monster / NPC generator, customizer, advancer.
It supports class levels, templates, magic items and feats just to name a few things. It just came out and it is continuing to expand its features quite quickly.

Niiiice. It was dead simple to advance a ghoul or a green dragon.

Will all the dragon age categories be populated down the road?

I am furiously working on getting everything from the monster manual 3.5 into the application. My next release already has about another dozen creatures and in fact have about 30+ from other OGL sources such as all 3 Tome of Horrors books that I have not added because I need to type up an update for the OGL disclosure section.

The half-dragon templates for every color dragon are also already ready for the next release.

Dragons are up there on my list to get done and the Kobold-in-chief has but to ask for the Overlord to obey.

Be careful -- there's creatures in the Monster Manual that aren't in the SRD (such as beholders, mind flayers, etc). Using them could cause your project to draw the ire of WotC.

While I am thinking about it...I would like to see all the OGL creature stat blocks from Kobold Quarterly end up in the application in a timely fashion as most would make the advancement of said creatures quick and painless. Blink dogs are going in the next release perhaps I should add in the Blink Pups from the most recent issue.

It is an interesting thought that D&D modules designed for characters level X-Y could now be modified for nearly any level would little effort...(at least from a creature stat perspective which is usually the largest piece of conversion for higher or lower levels)

Unfortunately I am well aware of the restrictions which preclude the use of some of my favorites - carrion crawlers, displacer beasts, beholders, yuan-ti... That is why I put focus on collecting OGL compliant monster manuals that I can eventually use. Tome of Horrors (1-3) Creature Collection (1-3) nearly all the creatures from any Scarred Lands campaign setting book are OGL. I could easily have over 1000 different creatures in the Monster Advancer(http://www.monsteradvancer.com) before I am through...although the thought of that data entry makes my fingers hurt a bit.

Just making sure, since you said:

Zherog,

You caught me. I did not add any provisos to my statement so you are right to have cautioned me. I should know better than to be anything but precise around Kobolds. You are quite correct to be concerned for my well-being in any case as even an overlord must be careful not to draw the ire of those who could release the Tarrasque upon my little world.

Glad to hear you are on top of the OGL issues, and looking forward to seeing KQ monster or three in the advancer as well.

Please do drop a line here when that happens!

Rest assured I will let everyone know when I incorporate the Kobold Quarterly content into the advancer.

no sweat. I've just seen WotC shut down too many cool projects because the folks doing the project didn't handle the legal stuff correctly. I'm glad you're on it and already aware of the potential traps.
