Fluff to rules ratio? I mean, I DM 4th, and will either stick with that or move to 5e…..

I dont have it in front of me right now but but I’d say that there is probably more fluff than rules: maybe 1/4 rules and the rest fluff. Colorful fluff, mind you. Pirates and islands and monsters and everything in-between. Just my opinion, for what it’s worth

I’d put it at 60% flavor, 40% rule mechanics, if I had to. Statblocks translate easily for me from PFRPG to 4E, but I’ve done several large conversion projects. I think the templates for ships, the islands, the pirate groups, maybe even the glyphs are all readily usable in their current state. The NPCs would require some heavy lifting, and they’re a quarter of the material. The rest is scattered blocks in other sections and shifting the magic items to a 4E format of daily/encounter/at-will usage.
