Fluxx is readily available. I just found Sorry for 17€, but I try to boycott all Hasbro products, so I'm not too keen on buying it. :)

When asked, what is my favourite board game? I always say "Sorry". It is the only game (aside from Go Fish and War) that I can remember playing with my brother most of the time. We had "Trouble", Connect 4 and the best "Bingo" game anyone ever designed, but we played "Sorry" the most. As we got older, we stopped being nice. When saying "Sorry!", we got more and more sarcastic and with each bump back to Start, we became more staunchly determined to beat the other person to a pulp on the board. About 10 years ago, now, we were playing at Thanksgiving and my 7 year-old was playing with us. Just because he was a kid, didn't mean we were being nice. He loved it and still loves the game. We have had about 3 copies, and need another one as we have lost pieces, again.

Cool variant!

And there must be someplace on the Interwebs that would sell you a copy of Sorry or Fluxx and send it to Berlin, yes?

Funny you would mention Sorry! About a decade ago, I made a hybrid variant which I called Sorry Fluxx which I thought worked quite well. The rules were simple.

1) Mix the Sorry and Fluxx decks together.
2) Deal 3 cards to each player.

Now play Sorry and Fluxx at the same time! If you play a Sorry card, move your piece on the board. If you play a Fluxx card, then play it like in Fluxx. If you win the game of Fluxx, immediately move ANY of your Sorry pieces to Home. First player to move all their pieces to Home wins! :)

I've actually been wanting to play this again for a while, but neither Fluxx nor Sorry are as popular here in Germany, so I haven't managed to see both games in one location since I've moved to Berlin.

If any of you try it out, I'd be curious to hear how it went. My email: chuck (at) chucksmith (dot) de.
