On a similiar theme. If you wanted to be really mean to your PC’s (and who doesn’t!) you could put them in the middle of a smackdown fight between two big, bad beasties in a confined space. Think Alien vrs Predator or Kong vrs T.Rex or my fave warring dragons. Caught in the crossfire do they stay neutral, take sides or fight both creatures at the same time.

I love this encounter Rich! Tell me, was this based on a fine day out and about in the woods of Derbyshire? If so, do you identify more with the PCs or Gnarlrudd?
