I completely agree with your points.
I give new RPG players an introduction adventure with some friends to get them started.
That way I can also find out what they enjoy.
In the past I&#039;ve had players start out in a bad way, they usually don&#039;t stay.

RPGs should indeed play their strengths compared to video games:
complete freedom, role playing, cooperative storytelling, etc.

You make a good point in running an introductory adventure for regulars.
I think I&#039;ll try it, it&#039;s also a good chance to try out other RPGs.]]></description>
