Now this is interesting; I believe I remember a player bringing a similar race to my attention before. I do like the theme, but I worry that it’s a little overpowered. Between the fey type and the abilities usable in fox form, I’m not sure if the quadruped status is enough of a downside. Of course, I’m also not sure if it warrants a +2 level adjustment. I think I’d have to see it played…

I’m letting someone play one of these tonight in Pathfinder. I’m not making any serious changes except to do away with the level adjustment and keeping him from using the Star Ball until higher levels(after a quest). I think it’ll make for a very interesting rogue.
