When the officer asked you about illegal gambling, its too bad you didn’t think to say “Oh yeah, if Robert’s there, you can be sure there’s illegal gambling too.” Would have deflected their attention, and gotten a measure of revenge on the Perpetrator of Problems.

Owen, I am oddly tempted. I have a Swiss cousin who spent a year as an exchange student near Tulsa.

He wound up with the strangest German/Okie accent, but he always said it was a friendly place.

Curiously, I should mention, that the Oklahoma State Fair, typical purveyor of disgustingly recursively-fried foodstuffs, has been fairly dry, when it typically rains almost continuously through the two weeks of the Fair.

This is clearly an omen. As to what…well, that’s a fuzzier issue.
