Kobold Quarterly #16 Now Available

by Wolfgang Baur

Cover KQ16The latest and greatest issue of Kobold Quarterly is now available! And frankly, after the big holiday extravaganza, it’s nice to kick back with a magazine full of cool ideas for a new year’s worth of gaming. And by “holiday extravaganza”, we do mean the big Seahawks win over the Saints…

It’s a sexy issue, as kobolds are the sexiest of the reptilian humanoids. This particular issue spills the beans on harem assassins, clockwork creatures and adepts, monster hit locations, official Pathfinder magic items from the RPG Superstar contest, an interview with Robin Laws, and a new comic, d20 Monkey!

The knockout cover is by Kieran Yanner, and given that he has stooped from doing work for the Kinect and Magic: the Gathering to spend time with humble us, we are pretty grateful to show off his extreme talents. Just look at her! And the inside of the magazine is even sexier than that!

Give Kobold Quarterly #16 a try in print or in PDF and let me know what you think in comments!

  1. Tom Allman says:

Only an ear infection and projectile vomitting could keep me from getting my copy at Backlist Books. Need to save vs. both.

  2. Wolfgang says:

Your great fortitude will see you through!

  3. Marc Radle says:

Haven’t ordered the issue yet, but I must say – that cover is pretty freaking fantastic!

  4. Wolfgang says:

    Yep, I’m quite a fan.

  5. I am very excited to read the issue.

Mr. Yanner’s work never ceases to amaze me.

I hope everyone digs the d20monkey comic as well. I am thrilled to be involved with KQ and hope to make the comic a staple for years to come (provided the readers agree).

  6. Jim Groves says:

Ironically, I had projectile vomiting and an ear infection just prior to this. I have defeated those worthy (?) foes, and have been seduced into resubscribing.

  7. Wolfgang says:

You have a strange sense of seduction, Mr. Groves. So few people appreciate the romance of nausea and ear infections these days. :)

    But I’m happy to hear you’ve re-upped!
