The other way I have used it (Skill Challenges and Combat) is to have a task that must be completed during the fight (like closing a Portal, or launching gnomish buzzbombs while under bombardment and airborne attack).  Having it be preparation for an incoming attack is a good twist.  Your presentation is different from what I&#039;ve done before in this vein - fortifying a village before a large-scale attack.  This example in the monastery is a small-scale tactical impact and benefit.  Kudos!]]></description>
