Will there be a Kobold Meet Up? We've GOT to get together!
I worked up the budget and I'll be driving up from Northern California to attend. It will be my first gaming convention so I'm very excited!  It also means I have to roll a d12...

It's a nice drive, and a great show. Shelly and I will be there, and I know the Paizonians all will, and tons of special guests. And it's a show that emphasizes playtime, not just panels and the dealer room. The dealer room is quite modest, really.
With a little luck, Richard Pett will do a signing for Rise of the Runelords and Whispering Homunculus.
Frankly, you have chosen very, very well for your first convention. Book your game events early, and definitely do the banquet if you can.

 Christina I'm glad you'll be there I can't wait to meet you.
I'm totally down for this Wolfgang! I really want to shake your hand and chat with you. Richard Pett is also one of my design heroes and I want to have him sign something or get my picture taken with him. But there's so many other people I want to meet... mostly kobolds!
Will there be an Open Design meet up?

Yep, there will absolutely be some sort of patron meetup. The details are still being ironed out: prior years we've gone to a sushi place with Jason Bulmahn and a not too impressive bar with Sigfried Trent and... Well, guess we'll see what's close to the new hotel before the kobolds announce anything.

My attendance is looking iffy. At best, I may be able to do Friday night and Saturday day...I have an important family event the next weekend and getting both weekends off is unlikely...much as I want to attend again this year, I can't plan on being there. James, I appoint you as my summoned proxy - just do whatever Wolfgang or Shelly tell you to do...

I imagine the lottery will be released pretty soon and I am thinking about schedule of events. Even if the OD patron event location isn't finalized, is the time solidified (or general time frame)?
Also, for some of us with OD official game slots as part of a KS award- any word on what time to reserve for those? Thanks!
