This was one thing that bugged me about a lot of the 3.5 classes, they kept giving magic spells to everyone, even those classes that were based on things that never were associated with magic. If I ever play a Ranger again, I'm gonna be using this. |

Been wanting to get this for a while...
Does the Expanded Spell-less Ranger have all the info, or do I need KQ#11 as well. I mean, I hope to get all the KQ's eventually, but is the Expanded version the whole thing, or just.....expanded? |

The Expanded Spell-less Ranger is a complete, stand-alone product - you don't need to have the original issue of Kobold Quarterly as well.
Of course, I still recommend you pick up issue #11 - like all issue of KQ, there's LOTS of great stuff in there _________________ Marc Radle

Hey everyone - if I understand correctly, the new PDF for the Spell-less Ranger should now be live! I completely updated the layout so that it matches all the more recent New Paths installments. I think it flows a lot better.
Anyone who previously purchased this should be able to re-download it again to get the new version. I think an automatic e-mail from wherever you originally got it should have gone out to previous purchasers as well.
Hope everyone likes the new layout! _________________ Marc Radle

Awesome! Really glad you like the class!
One of the players in our own Rise of the Runelords is playing a Spell-less Ranger as well.
What's kind of interesting is that, in his case, he is playing a Spell-less Ranger with both the companion-bound ranger and the dual-style ranger archetypes applied.
Although I'd playtested both of those archetypes individually, and I was completely confident that the two archetypes could work together in a balanced way, I had not seen a Spell-less Ranger with both the companion-bound ranger and the dual-style ranger archetypes in actual, weekly play before now.
It has proven to be a very cool and very interesting character, to say the least! _________________ Marc Radle

| It is driving me crazy that no one in my game is interested in playing a ranger (either with or without spells) right now. I so want to see this class added to my game! |

Just to make Amy even more jealous... I'm currently playing a Tengu Urban Ranger with Profession:Bounty Hunter in an urban-based homebrew campaign in the city of Deklin....
