So, I'm just curious but, has there been a change since Halls of the Mountain King in the structures of patronage? I recall pitching some minor things and contributing to several ideas for plot threads on that project, despite being at the lowest level of patronage. The two projects i'm signed up on now (Streets and Lost City) don't seem to have that same level of involvement for low level patrons. Or maybe we just haven't gotten to that point yet?
Anyway, just wondering if there's been a conscious shift, inadvertent alteration (due to jumping to the KQ boards perhaps?), or some sort of errata weirdness. |

I suspect that the brainstorm involvement is the same, as is critique and playtest. I know I've seen brainstorm threads for Streets at the lower level, and likewise I know there has been the voting and commentary on items and NPCs for Streets and on monsters for Frozen Empires.
It's really up to the lead designers to decide when to take a particular element out of the realm of senior patrons and give everyone a crack at it. I suspect it's just too early for that with some of these things.
Lost City is definitely wide open at the moment for plot discussion! The post of the adventure pitches for everyone's review opens up a lot of concrete possibilities to shape the adventure... _________________ Wolfgang Baur

| I did miss that post in the Lost City boards, so maybe it's just that Streets is moving a little slower. Glad to know there hasn't been any particular change. I was very pleased with my minor patronage the first time around, as I don't have the time to REALLY keep up with the threads, much less pitch something complex, like an adventure plot. |

From my perspective Lost City only really just started going with the locations discussion that just started. Streets on the other hand has these threads in the base level:
Startig Brainstorm Topic
Experimental Design?
Brainstorm: Zobeck Traits
Brainstorm: Possible New Mechanics
People of the Streets
Brainstorm: Locations
Brainstorm: The Grab Bag -- 100 Feats/Items/Spells
Discussion: Anthology Level Bands
I have noticed that with the board structure it is a lot easier to drop into an older thread when inspiration hits and start discussion again. It is harder to get a notification when a new thread is create though, so you have to visit fairly frequently to find out if something new has started.
Edit: Just to reference Lost City has these base brainstorming threads:
Setting Discussion
New Monster Tribe Discussion
but it just reached commission recently compared to Streets. _________________ -Jesse Butler

The Lost City boards don't seem to have a "New News" board like the Streets board does. Maybe it could use one? _________________ Roachling avatar pic drawn by Alexandra Douglass.
